Simon Lee is ECD and joint owner of The Hallway.

He began his advertising career at McCann Erickson in Paris. He moved to Sydney in 2003, joined leading independent direct agency Lavender and was rapidly promoted to Creative Director. In 5 years with the agency, Simon created successful campaigns for blue chip Australian brands including Westpac, The Australian Financial Review and Qantas Frequent Flyer.

Simon joined The Hallway in 2010. As the architect and leader of the agency’s creative offering he fuses his direct and mainstream experience with a passion for storytelling.

This passion fuelled the creation of Simon’s debut feature film - Dream Racer, a 93 minute documentary that he wrote, produced and directed. Dream Racer has been awarded at film festivals in Los Angeles, Barcelona, Madrid and New Delhi.

Consequently Simon now modestly boasts a cabinet of international awards spanning entertainment, media, PR, Direct, advertising and branded content.

Hannah has twenty years experience in creative companies in both London and Sydney.

Starting out as a photography producer and model booker, she worked at design bible Wallpaper* magazine in the early 2000s.  Hannah later joined renowned London agency Karmarama, working across Traffic, Art Buying and Print Production.

Moving to Sydney, she joined BMF as Head of Traffic, managing workflow for 4 years during the company’s growth from 80 to 220 people.

Hannah joined The Hallway in 2011, when the agency was only 10 strong, and has been a key member of the national leadership team ever since, and was listed among AdNews’ 30 Emerging Leaders in 2018.

She’s also a proud alumni of The Marketing Academy Australia Scholarship.

Starting out as a management consultant for Accenture, Jules was one of the early believers in digital communications making the transition to one of London’s first digital agencies in 2000. After spending time as General Manager of NetX in Sydney, Jules founded The Hallway in 2007 to create an agency that he felt could be more relevant, more effective and more interesting.

Jules’ grounding in management consultancy influences his approach to communications bringing a commercial rigour and an openness to innovation. For three years Jules sat on the Board of the Account Planning Group in Australia and he was recognized as one of the industry’s rising stars in 2010, making AdNews’ list of ‘40 under 40’.

Outside of work Jules blames his sporting background for his competitive edge. In 1993 he represented Great Britain at the world rowing championships.

These days sailing has replaced rowing. He has competed in most of the world’s major ocean races including four Sydney-Hobarts.

Jules is an active member of the global Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO).

Following roles at Leo Burnett Sydney and Host, managing multi media campaigns across Subaru, Tourism Tasmania, GIO, Ikea, Coke Red and Campari, Annabelle joined The Hallway team in early 2013.

She managed the Tourism & Events Queensland account and various InsuranceLine projects, and in recent years has managed the Google account, overseeing their last 4 major search campaigns and picking up a host of awards along the way.

Annabelle loves to go fishing and competed in the 2014 PNG National Titles.

With 15 years of Customer Experience Strategy and CRM experience, Wilmari is driven by customer insight, data and results.

A tenacious and curious marketer, Wilmari has worked across a diverse range of brands, channels and categories around the world developing strategies in customer journeys across acquisition and retention that maximises immediate and future opportunities. 

Prior to joining The Hallway, Wilmari was Director of CRM & Digital at AJF Partnership in Melbourne, and has also held client roles at Digicel, Intrepid Travel and Symbion.

With a passion for people and creativity, Wil is focused on dynamically driving business culture and success.

MAT RAWNSLEY

Mat started his career at DDB Sydney in the mail room, rising up through the media planning and buying ranks on the McDonald's account. After a couple of years in the Middle East, he joined Clemenger's brand new media offspring OMD Australia as Media Group Head on a range of blue chip alcohol, food and travel brands.

He then spent six years at Adelaide's kwp! as Media Director and Joint Director Of Ideas, before relocating to Sydney. Mat then joined The Monkeys as head of media and communications planning, winning the Media Federation of Australia Award's Grand Prix for the Boost Mobile 'Stay Living' campaign.

Most recently he was at OMD Australia again, as the strategic lead on accounts such as Tourism Australia, Qantas, TAB and Bacardi.

Mat is passionate about using data and technology to drive compelling creative and media ideas. He is also a husband and teller of dad jokes to two kids, a competition sprinter (though is usually recovering from an injury), and has been completely obsessed with music since he was a boy.

Siobhan specialises in strategic and creative copywriting, content creation and tone of voice. In other words, words.

Siobhan’s 15-year career spans three continents. Originally from New Zealand, Siobhan kicked off her career at independent agency Lavender in Sydney. Here she grew up on Westpac and discovered the power of data-driven marketing.

In 2009, Siobhan made the move to London and honed her skills at top digital agencies including AKQA and R/GA.

Siobhan then spent 18 months at Ogilvy & Mather in Bahrain (a small island next to Saudi Arabia). She was the lead creative on American Express until the Arab Spring moved her on.

As well as adapting to the heat, Siobhan’s other achievement involved rewriting the entire HSBC website for the region, helping shape its radically new tonality across personal, business and Islamic markets.

Fast forward five and a half years later, Siobhan is now a fully-fledged Melburnian and happily part of The Hallway’s entrepreneurial Victorian team.

JEREMY WILLMOTT

JEREMY WILLMOTT

Jeremy has over 10 years experience working in London and Sydney. His career has taken him from Flash developer to interaction designer to Head of Creative tech before settling on a role as a senior art director. His varied career gives him a solid understanding of digital marketing in all its forms.

Jeremy has worked with a variety of clients including Mercedes-Benz, Samsung, Emirates, Qualcomm, BBC, Audi, Grolsch and Thomson. He has also been involved in award winning work through his career, with wins in the One Show, Webbys, Lovies and BIMAs.

He is currently a Webbys and Lovies awards judge and has also help judge the interactive strand of Zealous X in London.

Jeremy has a strong love for technology and innovation and is currently designing and building his own iOS app for film fanatics. He is also an avid film-maker having set up the film-making collective Dandyline Films in 2011.
