Following roles at Leo Burnett Sydney and Host, managing multi media campaigns across Subaru, Tourism Tasmania, GIO, Ikea, Coke Red and Campari, Annabelle joined The Hallway team in early 2013.

She managed the Tourism & Events Queensland account and various InsuranceLine projects, and in recent years has managed the Google account, overseeing their last 4 major search campaigns and picking up a host of awards along the way.

Annabelle loves to go fishing and competed in the 2014 PNG National Titles.

Simon Lee is ECD and joint owner of The Hallway.

He began his advertising career at McCann Erickson in Paris. He moved to Sydney in 2003, joined leading independent direct agency Lavender and was rapidly promoted to Creative Director. In 5 years with the agency, Simon created successful campaigns for blue chip Australian brands including Westpac, The Australian Financial Review and Qantas Frequent Flyer.

Simon joined The Hallway in 2010. As the architect and leader of the agency’s creative offering he fuses his direct and mainstream experience with a passion for storytelling.

This passion fuelled the creation of Simon’s debut feature film - Dream Racer, a 93 minute documentary that he wrote, produced and directed. Dream Racer has been awarded at film festivals in Los Angeles, Barcelona, Madrid and New Delhi.

Consequently Simon now modestly boasts a cabinet of international awards spanning entertainment, media, PR, Direct, advertising and branded content.

Carolyn has 17 years experience in production. She began her career in broadcast television and has also produced Broadcast Design, Visual Effects and post-production.  For 11 years, she ran boutique production company, Verve Films, before leaving to freelance as a Producer on branded content projects.

Carolyn was appointed to the board of the Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA) where she provided advocacy and thought leadership in commercial production with government, unions, community and screen industry stakeholders. 

Her work has been awarded internationally at the New York festivals, Clios, D&AD, BDA and in Australia at Award.

Sam joined The Hallway in 2010 as a Project Manager following stints as a digital Account Manager at Clemenger BBDO and NetX, where she worked alongside Jules Hall.

Sam has a totally integrated approach to communications having worked on projects ranging from TVCs to mobile games to employer branding. She currently works on Google, Mutti, Disney and UNSW and is always ready to find ways to deliver effective creative solutions for our clients, no matter the brief or budget.

Outside of work, Sam spends much of her time with her little boy, building Duplo towers, creating crayon masterpieces, sewing baby bow ties and baking some extraordinary cakes.

Starting out as a management consultant for Accenture, Jules was one of the early believers in digital communications making the transition to one of London’s first digital agencies in 2000. After spending time as General Manager of NetX in Sydney, Jules founded The Hallway in 2007 to create an agency that he felt could be more relevant, more effective and more interesting.

Jules’ grounding in management consultancy influences his approach to communications bringing a commercial rigour and an openness to innovation. For three years Jules sat on the Board of the Account Planning Group in Australia and he was recognized as one of the industry’s rising stars in 2010, making AdNews’ list of ‘40 under 40’.

Outside of work Jules blames his sporting background for his competitive edge. In 1993 he represented Great Britain at the world rowing championships.

These days sailing has replaced rowing. He has competed in most of the world’s major ocean races including four Sydney-Hobarts.

Jules is an active member of the global Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO).

Jo completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne before commencing her marketing career at Universal Studios. After nine years working in client-side marketing teams, Jo made the decision to switch to the world of agencies, taking a role at M&C Saatchi Melbourne, where she worked on the ANZ account for twelve months.

With a passion for results and the power of one to one communications, Jo has spent the past ten years focused on the digital and direct space. Over that time Jo has built financial services experience working on the ME, NAB, ANZ, ING/Onepath and CPA Australia accounts alongside non-financial services companies La Trobe University, Slater + Gordon, Cricket Australia, Mars Petcare and P&G.

Jo's experience spans direct, digital, brand strategy & identity, comms strategy, integrated campaigns, PR and events.

Most importantly, Jo is motivated and a motivator. Brim full of passion she is an advocate of Affective Ideas that grow our clients' businesses.

Hannah has eighteen years experience in creative companies in both London and Sydney.

Starting out as a photography producer and model booker, she joined design bible Wallpaper* magazine in 2001.  Hannah later joined independent London agency Karmarama, working across Traffic, Art Buying and Print Production.

Moving to Sydney, she joined BMF as Head of Traffic, managing workflow for 4 years during the company’s growth from 80 to 220 people.

Hannah joined The Hallway in 2011, when the agency was only 10 strong, and has taken over the smooth running of the business focusing on our commercial and cultural health.

Hannah believes in hiring full-stack people – those who have an insatiable appetite for new ideas, best practices and ways to be more productive and happy.

Campaign Asia recently named Hannah as runner-up in their agency Talent Manager of the Year award.

Siobhan specialises in strategic and creative copywriting, content creation and tone of voice. In other words, words.

Siobhan’s 13-year career spans three continents. Originally from New Zealand, Siobhan kicked off her career at independent agency Lavender in Sydney. Here she grew up on Westpac and discovered the power of data-driven marketing.

In 2009, Siobhan made the move to London and honed her skills at top digital agencies including AKQA and R/GA.

Siobhan then spent 18 months at Ogilvy & Mather in Bahrain (a small island next to Saudi Arabia). She was the lead creative on American Express until the Arab Spring moved her on.

As well as adapting to the heat, Siobhan’s other achievement involved rewriting the entire HSBC website for the region, helping shape its radically new tonality across personal, business and Islamic markets.

Fast forward five and a half years later, Siobhan is now a fully-fledged Melburnian and happily part of The Hallway’s entrepreneurial team.

Brad has worked in digital for more than a dozen years, based in New York and Sydney.

Brad started his career in banking at JP Morgan. He worked at a start-up in Manhattan during the first dot com boom, and then moved to insurance consulting during the bust.

Seeing the emerging opportunities in social media, Brad moved to crisis communications in 2004, and then on to interactive marketing agencies.

Brad’s ambition is to create work that moves people and his work with clients like Google, AstraZeneca, Bupa, JCDecaux, Knauf, Tourism Queensland and InsuranceLine has utilised technology to effortlessly engage audiences, ensuring brand messages are received, understood and shared.

Outside the agency Brad runs Jiamini, a charity that provides educational resources for orphans in southern Tanzania.

He also rides, races and builds motorbikes, plays in bands and talks very fast.

Natalie entered the world of advertising and PR at Pulse Marketing while still an under graduate. After completing her degree, she moved to London where she honed her people and communications skills as a manager at leading cosmetics brand MAC.

Upon returning to Australia, Natalie worked in PR & Social across a variety of lifestyle, hospitality and FMCG brands in both Australia and New Zealand.

She launched TVSN's inaugural Celebrity Challenge in New Zealand in 2014 and secured press opportunities for Kate Middleton's royal hairdresser during his visit to the region!

Her strategic thinking, attention to detail and knowledge of the evolving traditional and social media landscapes allows her to work well with clients to deliver effective campaigns that get people talking.

Jaime leads the finance team at The Hallway. Prior to joining The Hallway Jaime was the CFO for the Ogilvy Group (Ogilvy & Mather, OgilvyOne, Ogilvy Interactive, Redworks, Ogilvy CommonHealth, Ogilvy Action, Neo@Ogilvy, Ogilvy PR) across Latin America.

Prior to Ogilvy, Jaime was CFO of Cinemark in South America for 5 years, overseeing the finance function and the valuation in construction of new screens/theaters in the region.

He also worked for Diageo in the southern cone of South America (Argentina, Chile, Peru), leading the formation and growth of Diageo’s operations in the region. He started his career at ALSTOM Transport as an Engineer, in France and Latin America.

Jaime holds an MBA and is an accredited CPA.

Dan started in the mailroom at Young & Rubicam Toronto at the tender age of 17 and hasn’t looked back since.

He rose through the Canadian account service ranks at McCann and Publicis; launching Publicis’ Red Lion boutique agency after leading brand communications for clients such as Fiat Chrysler, ABInBev, WestJet, Air Miles, Kia Motors and the Ontario Government.

He then became business lead for Car and SUV communications at Blue Hive (now GTB), a bespoke WPP agency created for Ford.

 Most recently, Dan led a portfolio of 18 accounts (everything from Harley-Davidson to Commercial Insulation and Vapor Barriers) at Jan Kelley, a Canadian independent, as it doubled in size over a 3 year span.

Dan joined The Hallway in 2016. His two passions are his family (he is brutally outnumbered by his wife and 3 daughters) and the Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Club (he exhibits blind devotion despite highly questionable results).
